Rooms are brick built of 8 sq.metres and have wood insulated ceilings with tiled interiors for easy disinfection.

The dogs are only in the rooms for eating their supper and sleeping. They normally share a room with the same dog with which they share a daytime park. The parks are provided with an automatic system of clean fresh water. The food they are given is that which they normally eat at home thereby avoiding possible illness from a change of diet.
